The language of the times has changed drastically. Yesterday no longer serves this day. As a society that is separate in our belief, we now desire to unite. There is emotional pain, fear, anger, and dis-ease of our bodies, and mind. Our souls are offering clues that there is a better way to exist.
We all want peace!
We all crave to be whole!
We all need self-love!
The questions arise daily for many of us that we are unhappy, and being harmed by another’s, thoughts, words, and actions. At times, even our own thoughts that are negative do harm to us. The seeds of yesterday that were planted and fed by anyone who has ever caused any of us to fear, experience guilt, shame for not letting another control us, and grief at a loss of any kind need to be released.
Becoming aware is becoming awakened to the truth, passion, and purpose of our life existence. Somewhere along the path of believing in what our parents raised us to follow and all that society instills as a way to be, look and perform has created our truth to hide. As all of life is energy, money is the culprit in many relationships that manifest a form of suffering. We choose money over our passion and purpose in life.
We desire to be a chef, but the money is in working in our family business.
We want to be a teacher but there is no money for college, and we instead marry and raise a family.
We crave to experience life by playing music, but the money is in working with our hands.
We choose money over our innate gifts.
Life is a process of understanding that free will offers us the choice of how we want to live our lives. Everyone shows us who they are, by their decisions. This very day is the day to sit, close your eyes and reflect on where you are at this time in your life. What is it that you need to release that is no longer serving you. Journal about how you feel. Visualize your roots. Sit against a tree. Close, your eyes, breathe deep belly breaths and imagine your energetic roots sinking deep into the ground beneath you. Picture them connecting you to Mother Nature and know that the foundation is a solid one to build your life on.

The major distinction is an addiction to food, drugs, alcohol, sex, pornography, shopping, and exercise that is excessive, and chocolate and on and on. A person who wants to control others is angry and filled with rage. They are very excessive, their belief is ‘life is about me!”

The throat is our avenue to communicate in life with all. Now it is time to speak your truth! In the past, did someone lie to you and you were aware of it. In doing so, you have grown up to also lie as a defense mechanism because you are clueless as to why they lied. A pattern develops in all of us as we copy our parent’s behavior.

Do you hear and act on inner guidance?

Purchase a beautiful journal that you will enjoy writing in daily all your thoughts, feelings and insights about you. Scream if you must! Singing lessons, chanting works as well. Pick a form of creative expression like a child; dance, voice, writing, drawing, painting, or whatever appeals to you. If you have relationships issues go to couples therapy to improve communication to connect. Surrender. Open to guidance to a higher power.

Between our eyes is our brow or third eye, which also is called our intuition. That which we see that is unseen. We store our memories and dream experiences. The imagination of the past and future is evident here. We also can go beyond our five senses and the physical plane. Discernment in our daily life of what we want to see or not choose to see.

Fear, anxiety, and anger tend to close off our connection to the Divine. Prayer, meditation offers a release from difficult emotions so that we live entirely in our unique life journeys.
We are all born gifted!
We need to discover this gift!

At a convenient time, take a pen and paper, light a candle and answer the above questions one by one. In doing so, you will develop a path of truth for how you want to live your life today. Your inner wisdom will guide you towards all that needs to be released by simply paying attention to how you feel in your body.
At this time in the evolution of life, let us individually, contemplate the following …

3. Do you know your purpose?

Interestingly many will answer, ‘yes’ that they love themselves. If health is an issue? There is no clue as to what their purpose of life is? They are not happy? Then many are lying to the depths of their inner core of self. The majority of people tend to look outside of themselves for happiness. Whether that be; material objects, food, addictive choices or merely a new relationship.
What is this concept of loving the self all about anyway? When a man or woman love who they are in life and how they are experiencing life the following appears in their life. They take the time to nurture and nourish their body, mind, and soul. In doing so, they choose healthy foods to consume which means they do not eat processed foods.
Processed foods are all foods that come in plastic and boxes. Fast foods are the worst possible foods any of us can consume. Chemicals, genetically modified organisms are in these types of foods, as well as toxins and pesticides, especially if we are not choosing organic. It has come down to learning about ingredients in our food and what we are putting in our mouths. If you cannot pronounce the ingredients, don’t eat it!
Foods that are not real, not fresh, not healthy wild fish, not organic free-range meats are harming the body. First, we are a soul, eternal beings that need to nurture the desires of our soul by connecting to Mother Nature. Second, we have a mind that is abundant with wisdom to share with others in whatever creative outlet we desire. Third, we have a body which as a vehicle for our soul needs to be nourished to live.
We are together on this planet to grow, expand and develop our souls which are eternal. Begin by eliminating processed foods. Choose to expand our minds through the act of reading spiritual books, taking classes on subjects that interest us. Many that love themselves also love Mother Nature. That is where the magic in life happens; a walk outside, planting, growing foods, swimming, hiking, sitting in the sun, meditating under a tree. Being one with nature by being in nature is medicine!
When we learn to meditate which is staying focused for at least 20 minutes, we center, and ground ourselves to spirit. A form of meditation can be watching our breath go in and out. Others are; walking outside in silence, running, sitting under a tree, hiking, swimming, playing the guitar or another instrument, journaling, reading a spiritual book. We as human beings on this planet need to take the time to rest, relax and be one with spirit at least once a day.
When we are happy, and healthy because we love ourself, we will then discover our purpose. Whatever we are passionate about doing, creating, manifesting is our mission today. That which is part of our goal in life is to love ourselves so that we can love another? The another in life is all of life. Our relationships, with our parents, sibling, spouses, children, grandchildren, friends, co-workers, and bosses. A simple smile, a greeting of hello, acknowledgment to anyone from the mailman to the supermarket clerk will change your life.
Let’s look at dogs for the lesson that they can offer to us when it comes to unconditional love. Dogs show us how to love unconditionally by their excitement to see us each and every time. They do not care how we look, dress, wear our clothes or how we act. They love us as we are period. I am a dog lover and have had a few dogs through my life experience. If there are any health issues we are concerned about, let’s take the time to check in with what foods we are consuming. Why do we consume fast foods, processed foods, junk foods, alcohol, and drugs? If we truly love who we are as we are, we will choose more vegetables, superfoods, maybe once a week eat a vegetarian meal or even a plant-based meal. Drinking enough water with a pinch of Sea Salt is a priority in life instead of soda or chemical-filled drinks. Take a look at the benefits of herbs that are available instead of popping a pill. If you are not happy and you want to be, YOU MUST begin to love who you are as you are. Forgive your past. Forgive yourself. Forgive everyone that may have hurt you in some manner. Bless your future. Learn alternatives to help you on this fantastic light-filled, loving world that we all live in together. We will look back one day and discover we have regrets. It is never too late to release anything that no longer serves any of us today. Hopefully, when it is our time to transition we will smile and say, “I lived a great life!”
I am amazed and grateful for the powers of the Universe. Truly we all need to connect to the light within. I have travelled a journey that is filled with change, love, light and happiness. As a daughter, wife, mother and grandmother the choices I make affect those around me. I have always been aware that I am an example for others, especially my children. As I reflect on my childhood and the foods I consumed they seem to me today to be very basic. Milk, Cereal,Meat, Chicken, Lamb, Shrimp, Potatoes, Rice, Corn, Cold cuts, Applesauce, Ice cream, potato chips and chocolate chip cookies. Not a wide variety of foods. Almost forgot Nathan’s hot dogs were a favorite of my dad which we all ate.
When I met my husband, I fell in love with italian food. A change in my diet led me to become a carb eater. Now I did not become a brave woman who tried everything and ate everything but I did eat differently. I had an inner knowing of not drinking when I ate, not choosing to eat sauces on my food, which drives my husband crazy. I actually eat dry pancakes, french toast and most foods without additional butter, syrup or gravy. Mostly stayed away from fast foods except for the occasional hit back in the day. Never was a soda drinker which I find amusing since my dad worked for American Beverage!
Somewhere along this amazing journey I found out I was lactose intolerant and intolerant to other foods as well that I consumed regularly. Late in life, I introduced green vegetables and salad into my diet, began juicing and educated myself about organics and learned that we are what we eat. I became a vegetarian then I tried to be vegan. Well, my body was rebelling and I chose to listen and learn.

I have been away from this site for over a year trying to venture out into the world of writing, reading and sharing information with others. I have travelled a path of offering a Monthly Healing Circle of Love for those so inclined to join me and others, as we shared our stories. It was fulfilling to the point of a very unsettling anticipation. Who was coming? Who was not coming? I learned that fear is a basis for non-responsive communication. As I travel the journey of going outside my comfort zone to improve myself many are not ready to take the leap. I was given insight into the fact that we are all one but on different levels of consciousness. The ride I am on is mine and if you want to come along please jump right on.
I met a few different authors during this time as well, which I am delighted to know. The books Kryon by Lee Carroll was very interesting, informative and mind-boggling. David R. Hawkins, M.D., Ph.D introduced me to his books as well and I discovered Letting Go, The Pathway of Surrender, is a journey of letting go of that which allows an interesting emotional free life when we choose to surrender. The author I truly fell in love with was Nancy Tappe and her books; Understanding Your Life Through Color, Understanding Your Life Through Awareness and Indigos, the quiet storm written by Kathy Altaras. I was amazed at the information in Grain Brain: The Surprising Truth about Wheat, Carbs and Sugar – Your Brain’s Silent Killers by David Perlmutter M.D. and tried his recommendation about eating gluten-free products. The Instruction by Ainslie MacLeod was inspirational and offered a distinct meditative practice. The Afterlife of Billy Fingers: How My Bad-Boy Brother Proved to Me There’s Life After Death was fun and a blessing if one is afraid of the process of death. I find I am always looking for ways to help another and came across the book Rocky Roads, The Journey of Families through Suicide Grief by Michelle Linn-Gust, Ph.D. which was very profound. Stephen Shaw introduced me to his books; I AM, Heart Song and Star Child which I enjoyed tremendously.
Of course, as a wife, mom, grandmother and counselor I search many avenues to quench my thirst for information which led me to read The Turmoil of Someone Else’s Drinking by Joyce Margaret, First Aid for Enablers by David Curry, The Addictive Personality: Understanding the Addictive Process by Craig Nakken, The Silent Marriage: How Passive Aggression Steals Your Happiness by Nora Femenia, Stopping Emotional Abuse by Nora Femenia and Closing the Passive Aggressive Defiance Gap by Neil Warner. Loved reading The Four Purposes of Life by Dan Millan, as I have always been a fan of his. Spirit led me to read the books by Sadhguru on Life and Death in One Breath and A Guru Always Takes You for a Ride where I discovered that there is a simplicity to life I crave. The last book I recently read was Sonia Choquette, Walking Home: A Pilgrimage from Humbled to Healed and was inspired and amazed by her courage and strength as she walked the Camino de Santiago a 500-mile trek through Spain. I felt her sorrow, pain, fear and exhaustion. These are just a few that have kept me away from this blog, as well as, daily life in general. I did read the trilogy, Fifty Shades of Grey by EL James finding it quite interesting and enjoyable.
There are so many books that I can’t wait to read and I am starting with the new book by Vani Hari, The Food Babe Way because I believe that the toxins in food are true and we as a society need to educate ourselves on what we eat and feed our family. I was at her book launch and she is my hero! Time is offered to me by the universe and I am grateful to read and re-read some of my books that nourish my soul. I hope one or two of these authors resonate with you and that you get to meet them through their books, as I have.
This past September in 2014 Salvatore Nicolo came into our lives to love, nourish, and enjoy. I am extremely blessed to treasure with unconditional love my amazing children and now their amazing children. I am simply filled with excitement as a grandmother.
